The Citizen today (Saturday) celebrates the hard work and generosity of two of Matson's emerging community leaders: Luke Stokes and Mark Dix.
Luke and Mark constructed and fitted-out the gym at the Redwell Centre in their own time last summer so that anyone in Matson can benefit from it.
The Citizen reports that they plan to develop the dance studio too.
Together in Matson also has plans for the Redwell Centre. The boiler has recently been replaced (phew!) and more rennovation work is in the pipework (sorry!) for the near future.
Meanwhile the neighbouring St Hilda's project is about to begin construction this week. Watch this space for more details!
