This Sunday at the Parish Eucharist we'll be hearing a letter form Bishop Michael on his focus for the year ahead. For our Bishop's this is a focus on exploring the meaning and implications of baptism.
The following Saturday, 14 January, from 3pm till 6 pm at St Hilda's Hall, there is an important parish meeting to discuss our vision and values and what that means for our future together as worshipping congregation that seeks to cherish this community in God's name. All are welcome.
Clearly the bishop thinks exploring the meaning and implications of baptism is of great import, especially in the light of a recession and of climate change. No wonder people think the church is irrelevant.
