New Hope for Pentecost

The New Hope Singers, members of Gloucester’s Seventh Day Adventist Church with be joining the CofE Congregation of St Katharine’s, Matson for a Pentecost Celebration. On Sunday 27^th May at 10am those recently baptised are especially welcome to come and bring their baptism candles. Staff from the youth and community project ‘Together In Matson’ will also help lead the service as a sign of the work of the Churches together in partnership with the community.

“Pentecost Sunday is when we celebrate God’s gift of the Spirit to all kinds of people,” said Revd Keith Hebden, from St Katharine’s Church, “so it’s great that we have people representing both the many Churches and those who only sometimes come to Church getting together.”

Everyone is encouraged to wear something red, to mark the day, and to stay after for refreshments.
